now lets go to kyoto, another great site to visit is the Golden Pavilion, This Pavilion is set in a magnificent Japanese strolling garden (kaiyū-shiki). The pond in front of it is called Kyōko-chi (Mirror Pond). There are many islands and stones on the pond that represent the Buddhist creation story. The bad thing is that in the 1950s a monk set the Pavilion in flames, just so that he can melt the gold. Well soon after he attemepted suicide. He survided and was arrested, he was giving 7 years in prison, but was released due to mental issues, he died in 1956
